COOKING THE PASTA
For this dish, I prefer using Cellentani pasta. However, any pasta you like will work great. I suggest trying penne, farfalle, or fusilli.
Start by boiling the pasta until it reaches the ideal al dente firmness, adhering to the package directions. Remember to throw in a small amount of salt into the boiling water. While the pasta cooks, keep about half a cup of the water and drain the pasta once it’s cooked to your liking.
This allows you to efficiently prepare the sauce while the pasta is cooking, making sure everything is ready to enjoy together.
THE PIZZA SAUCE

Get ready to indulge in the delicious combination of two beloved dishes in every wonderful bite!
INGREDIENTS YOU NEED FOR THE SAUCE:
- Tomato paste
- Garlic
- Onion
- Heavy cream
- Dried basil
- Mozzarella cheese
- Parmesan cheese
- Olive oil


PIZZA PASTA
Ingredients
- 240 g pasta
- 1 onion finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves finely chopped
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 cup tomato juice
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- Salt & Pepper to taste
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp dried basil
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
- 1 cup pepperoni
Instructions
- Begin by bringing a generously salted pot of water to a rolling boil. Add the pasta and follow the instructions on the package for cooking time.
- In a saucepan, add some olive oil, chopped onion,garlic and let it simmer until fragrant.
- Add in the tomato juice,heavy cream, pepperoni, parmesan cheese, mozzarella cheese and all the other spices. Let it simmer for about 10 minutes.
- Add in your cooked pasta and top again with some extra cheese and pepperoni.
- Broil at 180 degrees until cheese has melted.
- Enjoy while warm!
