  • 1 chicken breast
  • salt
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp oil
Sauce
  • 5 tbsp butter
  • 1½ tbsp flour
  • 1½ cup heavy cream
  • salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • ¾ cup Parmesan
  • 1 tbsp lemon zest
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
Pasta
  • 9 oz fettuccine
  • 1 cup pasta water

Method
 

  1. Marinate chicken.
  2. Cook pasta and reserve water.
  3. Cook chicken.
  4. Make sauce with butter and flour.
  5. Add cream and seasonings.
  6. Add cheese.
  7. Add lemon.
  8. Add pasta and pasta water.
  9. Add chicken and toss.
  10. Serve immediately.
