Ingredients
FOR THE FRIED CHICKEN
- 1 chicken breast
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup panko bread crumbs
- Salt and pepper
- Frying oil for frying
FOR THE RAMEN
- 1 ramen pack
- 1 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 onion chopped
- 3 garlic cloves chopped
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 2 tsp curry
- Salt
- 1 tsp chili flakes
- 1 tbsp cream cheese
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- Red chili peppers finely chopped
- Green onions finely chopped
- 1 egg softly cooked
- Black sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
FOR THE FRIED CHICKEN
- Prepare 3 stations of coatings ( 1st is the flour, 2nd is 1 whisk egg seasoned with salt and pepper, 3rd is panko breadcrumbs )
- Dip the chicken breast in the flour, then the egg then the panko breadcrumbs.
- Fry at 180 Celsius degrees till golden.
FOR THE RAMEN
- In a saucepan, add in the butter, onion, garlic and cook till it is slightly golden.
- Add in the chicken broth, curry, salt, chili flakes and let it simmer.
- Add in the cream cheese, heavy cream and mix well.
- Add in the tomato paste and mix. Let it simmer till it thickens.
- Add in the cooked ramen and mix.
- Top with the fried chicken, some chopped chili peppers, green onions, black sesame seeds and eggs.
- Enjoy while warm!
