SPICY CHICKEN RAMEN BOWL

Ingredients
  

FOR THE FRIED CHICKEN

  • 1 chicken breast
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup panko bread crumbs
  • Salt and pepper
  • Frying oil for frying

FOR THE RAMEN

  • 1 ramen pack
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves chopped
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tsp curry
  • Salt
  • 1 tsp chili flakes
  • 1 tbsp cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • Red chili peppers finely chopped
  • Green onions finely chopped
  • 1 egg softly cooked
  • Black sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions
 

FOR THE FRIED CHICKEN

  • Prepare 3 stations of coatings ( 1st is the flour, 2nd is 1 whisk egg seasoned with salt and pepper, 3rd is panko breadcrumbs )
  • Dip the chicken breast in the flour, then the egg then the panko breadcrumbs.
  • Fry at 180 Celsius degrees till golden.

FOR THE RAMEN

  • In a saucepan, add in the butter, onion, garlic and cook till it is slightly golden.
  • Add in the chicken broth, curry, salt, chili flakes and let it simmer.
  • Add in the cream cheese, heavy cream and mix well.
  • Add in the tomato paste and mix. Let it simmer till it thickens.
  • Add in the cooked ramen and mix.
  • Top with the fried chicken, some chopped chili peppers, green onions, black sesame seeds and eggs.
  • Enjoy while warm!
