SPICY CHICKEN RAMEN BOWL

This spicy chicken ramen bowl is a comforting and flavorful dish that’s perfect for warming up on a chilly day.

Ingredients
  

FOR THE FRIED CHICKEN
  • 1 chicken breast
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup panko bread crumbs
  • Salt and pepper
  • Frying oil for frying
FOR THE RAMEN
  • 1 ramen pack
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves chopped
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tsp curry
  • Salt
  • 1 tsp chili flakes
  • 1 tbsp cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • Red chili peppers finely chopped
  • Green onions finely chopped
  • 1 egg softly cooked
  • Black sesame seeds for garnish

Method
 

FOR THE FRIED CHICKEN
  1. Prepare 3 stations of coatings ( 1st is the flour, 2nd is 1 whisk egg seasoned with salt and pepper, 3rd is panko breadcrumbs )
  2. Dip the chicken breast in the flour, then the egg then the panko breadcrumbs.
  3. Fry at 180 Celsius degrees till golden.
FOR THE RAMEN
  1. In a saucepan, add in the butter, onion, garlic and cook till it is slightly golden.
  2. Add in the chicken broth, curry, salt, chili flakes and let it simmer.
  3. Add in the cream cheese, heavy cream and mix well.
  4. Add in the tomato paste and mix. Let it simmer till it thickens.
  5. Add in the cooked ramen and mix.
  6. Top with the fried chicken, some chopped chili peppers, green onions, black sesame seeds and eggs.
  7. Enjoy while warm!
