THE PASTA
I prefer using Cavatappi for this dish, but any pasta you like will work too. Ziti, penne, and rigatoni are also great choices.
Start by boiling the pasta until it has a firm yet tender bite, following the directions on the package. Don’t forget to add a little salt to the water as it heats. While the pasta cooks, keep some of the cooking water, around half a cup, and then drain the pasta when it’s just right.
This allows you to efficiently prepare the sauce at the same time, making sure everything finishes cooking together perfectly.
THE CHEESE SAUCE

Whether you’re a fan of mac and cheese or looking to spice things up, our sauce is the secret that elevates your meal. Enjoy cheesy happiness with every spoonful!
COOKING THE SHRIMPS
Cooking shrimp can be a little challenging, so here are some tips for making them just right!
- Heat your pan: Get a skillet or pan nice and hot. You can use olive oil, butter, or a mix for added flavor.
Choose good shrimp: Start with fresh or fully thawed shrimp. The shells should be firm, clear, and slightly pink. Avoid shrimp that has any unpleasant smells.
Consider the size: Keep in mind that larger shrimp need more time to cook than smaller ones, so adjust the timing accordingly.
- Pat them dry before cooking: Cooking shrimp while they are wet will result in a boiled texture instead of a grilled one. Ensure they are well dried before you cook them.
Don’t overcook the shrimp: For large shrimp, the ideal cooking time is 23 minutes on each side. If you cook them for too long, they will become tough and lose their juiciness.
Here are the ingredients you’ll need for the sauce:
- Butter
- Olive oil
- Garlic
- Pasta
- Large shrimps
- Heavy cream
- Salt
- Pepper
- Garlic powder
- Onion powder
- Paprika
- Parmesan cheese
- Mozzarella cheese
- Chedder cheese
- Jalapenos (optional )
