HOW TO MAKE THIS YUMMY MAC AND CHEESE?
- Start off by boiling your elbow pasta in a hot salted water until al dante.
- In a saucepan, add butter, minced garlic and let it simmer until fragrant.
- Add in the gochujang sauce and mix.
- Add in the flour and heavy cream and whisk.
- Add in your fav cheese like mozzarella and cheddar. I like these two so much because basically they are the essence of the mac and cheese!
- Add in some pasta water and let it simmer until thickened.
- Add in the pasta and mix well.
- To make the crust, in a bowl, add in sesame oil, black sesame seeds, white sesame seeds, panko breadcrumbs and chili flakes.
- In a baking dish, drop in the pasta and top with the sesame crust.
- Broil at 180 degrees until slightly golden and serve!

Ingredients
- 250 g macaroni
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 garlic cloves minced
- 2 tbsp flour
- 2 tbsp gochujang sauce
- 300 ml heavy cream
- 200 g mozzarella cheese
- 150 g cheddar cheese
FOR THE CRUST
- 1 tbsp black sesame seeds
- 1 tbsp white sesame seeds
- 3 tbsp panko breadcrumbs
- 1 tbsp chili flakes
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1/2 tbsp salt
Instructions
- In saucepan, add in the butter and minced garlic. Let it simmer until fragrant.
- Add in the gochujang sauce and mix. Add in the flour and then the heavy cream, Mix well until all is incorporated.
- Add in the cheeses and mix.
- Add in the pasta and mix.
- To make the crust, in a bowl, add in the sesame oil, sesame seeds, chili flakes and panko breadcrumbs.
- In a baking dish, add in the pasta and top with the crust.
- Broil at 180 degrees until slightly golden.
- Serve while warm!
