INGREDIENTS YOU NEED:

  • Butter
  • Ghee
  • Powdered sugar
  • Eggs
  • Vanilla
  • Milk
  • Orange juice
  • Orange zest
  • Flour
  • Baking powder

STORAGE

  • Cool Completely: Allow the biscuits to cool completely at room temperature before storing them. This helps prevent moisture buildup, which can make them soggy.
  • Airtight Container: Transfer the cooled biscuits to an airtight container. Make sure the container is clean and dry to maintain freshness.
  • Layering: If you’re stacking the biscuits in the container, place a sheet of parchment paper or wax paper between each layer to prevent them from sticking together.
  • Room Temperature: If you plan to consume the biscuits within a few days, storing them at room temperature is fine. Just keep them away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
  • Refrigeration (Optional): If you want to extend their shelf life, you can store the biscuits in the refrigerator. However, be aware that refrigeration can sometimes alter the texture of biscuits, making them slightly harder.
  • Freezing (Optional): For longer-term storage, you can freeze the biscuits. Place them in a freezer-safe container or a zip-top freezer bag. They can be frozen for up to a few months. Thaw them at room temperature before serving.
