- Mayonnaise
- Mustard
That’s all there is to it – just these ingredients. Simply combine all the ingredients, and you’ll have a lusciously delicious sauce. It’s a delightful blend of sweetness and tanginess.
MAKING THE BURGER
Aim for patties weighing 3-4 ounces, about the size of a fist, molding them to suit your desired thickness and width. Make sure the diameter is slightly larger than the bun’s size, accounting for the patty shrinkage while cooking. Stick to salt and pepper only – simplicity is key for a tasty patty! Use a skillet for a great sear; however, a pan or griddle will do just fine too. Handle the patties gently to avoid making them dense. They don’t need a perfect round shape. Cook over high heat for a nice sear, about 2-3 minutes per side, ensuring it’s well-browned without overcooking.

1.Use fresh, high-quality beef
- Ground beef with a higher fat content (around 80/20) will result in juicier, more flavorful patties.
2.Don’t overhandle the meat

DOUBLE CHEESEBURGER
Ingredients
- 250 g ground beef
- 1 brioche bun
- 1 tbsp butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 onion thinly chopped
- 1/2 onion ring chopped
- Mushrooms sliced
- 1 tomato
- Iceberg lettuce chopped
- 2 pickle dills
- 2 chedder cheese
For the sauce
- 3 tbsp ketchup
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp mustard
Instructions
MAKE THE SAUCE
- To make the sauce, add ketchup, mayonnaise and mustard and mix.
PREPARE THE TOPPINGS
- Slice raw onions, tomatoes, lettuce and pickle dills.
MAKE THE BURGER
- Begin by dividing your ground meat into two patties. Flatten them well before grilling.
- In a well-heated pan, add some butter, grill the patties, and season them with salt, pepper, and some thinly sliced onions on both sides for about 2-3 minutes. While you are cooking the patties, grill some ring-shaped onions and mushrooms in the same pan.
- After flipping the patty, place the burger cheese on top to melt.
- Toast the burger buns on both sides with butter until golden brown.
- Place the bottom part of the bun, some sauce, a slice of cheese, a burger patty, a slice of tomato, another patty, some grilled onions, mushrooms, lettuce then finally the other bun.
- Enjoy while warm!
