INGREDIENTS YOU NEED
- Sushi Rice
- Shrimps
- Green Onions
- Mayonnaise
- Siracha sauce
VARIATIONS AND SUBSTITUTIONS
- Substitute the shrimps with chicken, tofu,etc.
- Vegetables: Stir finely chopped vegetables like peppers into the rice for added flavor and color.

CRISPY SHRIMP FRIED RICE BITES
Ingredients
- 2 cups sushi rice cooked and cooled
- 200 g shrimps well chopped
- 3 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp siracha
- 2 green onions finely chopped
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt to taste
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
Instructions
PREPARE THE SHRIMPS MIXTURE
- In a saucepan, add in some oil, chopped shrimps, paprika, garlic powder, salt and let it cook. Set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked shrimps , mayonnaise, siracha sauce, and green onions. Mix until everything is well combined and set aside.
SHAPE THE RICE
- Press the cooked rice firmly into a medium-sized pan until it’s compact and sticking together. For the best results, refrigerate it overnight to help it set.
- Before cooking, take it out of the fridge and get it out of the pan. Cut into small squares.
- Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat. Once hot, carefully place the rice bites into the oil. Fry for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden and crispy. Remove and drain on a paper towel.
- Top with the shrimp mix, green onions and siracha sauce!
