COOKING THE PASTA

My favorite pasta to use for this recipe is Spaghetti. But you can also use any type of pasta you prefer. I would recommend penne, farfalle or fusilli.

Begin by cooking the pasta to the perfect al dente texture, following the package instructions, and don’t forget to add a pinch of salt to the boiling water. As the pasta simmers, save around half a cup of the cooking water, and once the pasta reaches its ideal doneness, simply drain it.

This way, you can efficiently multitask, starting the sauce while the pasta cooks, ensuring everything is ready in harmony.

THE LEMON SAUCE

Our Lemon Sauce is a zesty wonder. It’s made with fresh lemon juice, zest, and a hint of cream for a smooth, tangy flavor. It adds a refreshing and delicious twist to your dishes, making every bite a burst of citrusy goodness!

Ingredients you need for the sauce:
• Olive oil
• Chili pepper
• Lemon juice
• Garlic cloves
• Heavy cream
• Parmesan cheese

Ingredients
  

  • 230 g pasta
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • Lemon zest
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp Chili flakes optional
  • 1 tbsp dried parsley

Instructions
 

  • Begin by bringing a generously salted pot of water to a rolling boil. Add the pasta and follow the instructions on the package for cooking time. Before draining, remember to save at least 1/2 cup of the pasta cooking water.
  • In a saucepan, add the olive oil,garlic,lemon juice and let it simmer.
  • Add in the heavy cream,lemon zest,parsley,chili,pepper and salt.
  • Add in the cooked pasta with 1/2 cup of pasta water and top with extra lemon zest for garnish.
  • Enjoy while warm!
