- 230 g pasta
- 2 garlic cloves
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- Lemon zest
- 1 cup heavy cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp Chili flakes optional
- 1 tbsp dried parsley
Begin by bringing a generously salted pot of water to a rolling boil. Add the pasta and follow the instructions on the package for cooking time. Before draining, remember to save at least 1/2 cup of the pasta cooking water.
In a saucepan, add the olive oil, garlic, lemon juice and let it simmer.
Add in the heavy cream, lemon zest, parsley, chili, pepper and salt.
Add in the cooked pasta with 1/2 cup of pasta water and top with extra lemon zest for garnish.
Enjoy while warm!
