Ingredients
  

  • 230 g pasta
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • Lemon zest
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp Chili flakes optional
  • 1 tbsp dried parsley

Method
 

  1. Begin by bringing a generously salted pot of water to a rolling boil. Add the pasta and follow the instructions on the package for cooking time. Before draining, remember to save at least 1/2 cup of the pasta cooking water.
  2. In a saucepan, add the olive oil, garlic, lemon juice and let it simmer.
  3. Add in the heavy cream, lemon zest, parsley, chili, pepper and salt.
  4. Add in the cooked pasta with 1/2 cup of pasta water and top with extra lemon zest for garnish.
  5. Enjoy while warm!
