WHAT IS GARLIC NAAN?
Garlic naan is a popular Indian flatbread that’s loved for its soft texture and savory flavor. It’s made from a simple dough of flour, water, yeast (or sometimes yogurt), and salt, which is traditionally cooked in a tandoor oven.
What sets garlic naan apart is its additional ingredients and preparation method. During the cooking process, usually on the inner wall of the tandoor oven, the naan is carefully brushed with garlic-infused melted butter. This step not only imparts a distinct garlic flavor but also lends the naan a slightly crispy exterior, enhancing its overall texture and taste. The result is a warm, aromatic bread with a soft interior, perfect for soaking up curries, sauces, or enjoying on its own as a delicious side dish.Garlic naan is a versatile and flavorful bread that complements a wide range of Indian dishes and is enjoyed by people around the world for its comforting taste and texture.
