INGREDIENTS YOU NEED:
- Brioche Bread
- Eggs
- Milk
- Vanilla
- Cinnamon
- Nutmeg
- Ginger
- Unsalted Butter
- Apples
- Heavy Cream
- Brown Sugar
- Powdered Sugar
- Whipped Cream

APPLE PIE STUFFED FRENCH TOAST
Ingredients
APPLE PIE FILLING
- 2 apple chopped
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp ginger
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
THE FRENCH TOAST
- 2 slices brioche bread
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp ginger
- 1 tbsp unsalted butter
- Powdered sugar for garnish
- Caramel sauce for garnish
- Whipped Cream for garnish
Instructions
MAKE THE APPLE PIE FILLING
- Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add diced apples, brown sugar, spices, heavy cream and stir well.
- Cook until the apples are tender and syrupy, about 8-10 minutes.
- If a thicker filling is desired, mix the water and cornstarch, then add to the skillet and cook for 1-2 minutes.
MAKE THE FRENCH TOAST
- In a shallow bowl, whisk the eggs, milk, spices, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Heat the butter in a skillet over medium heat.
- Cook each slice for 3-4 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through.
- Lay out the first slice of toast and top with some apple pie filling. Top with the other toast slice.
- Top with some extra apple pie filling, garnish with some powdered sugar, whipped cream and caramel sauce.
