Triple Cheese Garlic Bread

Servings: 2 people
Course: Breads

Ingredients

  • 1 cup garlic cloves garlic cloves
  • ½ cup olive oil
  • 100 g unsalted butter softened
  • 4–5 garlic confit cloves (or more to taste)
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Dried parsley
  • Brioche bread (sliced)
  • 1 cup  shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese

Method

Make the Garlic Confit
  1. Add the peeled garlic cloves and olive oil to a small saucepan.
Cook on very low heat for about 30–40 minutes, until the garlic is soft and lightly golden. The oil should gently bubble, not fry.
  2. Once done, remove from heat and let it cool. You can store this in the fridge for later use.
Prepare the Garlic Butter
  1. In a bowl, mash the softened butter with:
  2. garlic confit cloves
  3. garlic powder
  4. salt and pepper
  5. dried parsley
  6. Mix until smooth and fragrant. Taste and adjust — this is where you can make it as garlicky as you love.
Assemble the Garlic Bread
  1. Spread a generous layer of garlic butter over each slice of brioche bread.
  2. Top with:
  3. mozzarella
  4. cheddar
  5. Parmesan
  6. Make sure the cheese covers the bread evenly so every bite melts perfectly.
Bake Until Golden
  1. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 8–12 minutes, or until the cheese is fully melted and bubbly.
  2. For extra color, switch to broil for the last 1–2 minutes — just keep an eye on it.
