Method
Make the Dough
- In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, salt, garlic powder, oregano, basil, and onion powder. Add yeast, lukewarm water, eggs, and egg yolk. Mix until a dough forms, then knead in the softened butter until smooth and elastic.
First Rise
- Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for 60–90 minutes, or until doubled in size.
Prepare the Filling
- Mix softened butter with minced garlic, salt, basil, oregano, and parsley until well combined.
Shape the Rolls
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle. Spread the garlic butter evenly and sprinkle generously with mozzarella cheese. Roll tightly and cut into even pieces.
Second Rise
- Place rolls in a greased baking dish, cover, and let rise for 30–40 minutes until puffy.
