Begin by bringing a generously salted pot of water to a rolling boil. Add the pasta and follow the instructions on the package for cooking time. Before draining, remember to save at least 1/2 cup of the pasta cooking water.
In an oven safe dish, add the garlic head along with the olive oil and let it roast in the oven for approximately 1 hour at 220 degrees, until softened.
In a saucepan, add the butter, and the softened garlic. Let it simmer until fragrant.
Add in the heavy cream,salt,pepper,garlic powder,lemon juice and lemon zest.
Add in parmesan cheese and the pasta afterwards.
Add some pasta water and let it thicken.
Serve with some extra lemon zest and parmesan cheese!
