Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a cake pan.
- Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Mix in vanilla extract.
- Add milk, heavy cream, orange juice, and orange zest. Mix gently.
- Sift in flour and baking powder. Fold until just combined.
- Pour batter into prepared pan.
- Bake for 45–50 minutes, until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Let cake cool completely.
Make the Glaze:
- Beat cream cheese and butter until smooth.
- Add powdered sugar and orange juice. Mix until creamy.
- Spread glaze over cooled cake and decorate with orange zest.
