Ingredients
  

Brownie Batter
  • 180 g butter
  • 320 g chocolate chopped (for melting)
  • 120 g all-purpose flour
  • 50 g cocoa powder
  • 180 g granulated sugar
  • 80 g brown sugar
  • 2 g salt
  • 4 eggs
  • 120 g chocolate chunks
Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough
  • 85 g all-purpose flour
  • 80 g butter melted
  • 80 g brown sugar
  • 40 g granulated sugar
  • 1 g salt
  • 1 egg
  • 2 g vanilla extract
  • 70 g chocolate chips
  • Extra chocolate chunks for topping

Method
 

Cookie Dough
  1. Melt butter and let cool slightly.
  2. Mix butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and salt.
  3. Add egg and vanilla, whisk until smooth.
  4. Fold in flour and chocolate chips until combined.
  5. Refrigerate while preparing brownie batter.
Brownie Batter
  1. Preheat oven to 329°F (165°C).
  2. Melt chocolate and butter together over a double boiler until smooth.
  3. Whisk both sugars and eggs until thick and light.
  4. Sift flour, cocoa powder, and salt together.
  5. Stir melted chocolate mixture into egg mixture.
  6. Fold in dry ingredients until just combined.
  7. Fold in chocolate chunks.
Assemble & Bake
  1. Pour half the brownie batter into a parchment-lined pan.
  2. Scatter cookie dough chunks on top.
  3. Add remaining brownie batter.
  4. Top with the rest of the cookie dough and chocolate chips.
  5. Bake 45–55 minutes, until edges are set and center is still soft and fudgy.
  6. Cool completely before slicing.
