FOR THE MEATBALLS
- In a saucepan, add in some olive oil, chopped onion and cook till softened and a bit caramelized. Set aside.
- In a bowl, add in the ground beef, cooked onion, salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, panko breadcrumbs and egg. Mix well and form into medium sized balls.
- Freeze the meatballs for 30 minutes.
- In a well heated pan, add in olive oil and butter and cook the meatballs on both sides till done.
FOR THE MASHED POTATOES
- In heavily salted water, add in the chopped potatoes and let it cook till they are soft enough. Drain and add to a bowl.
- Mix the potatoes well with a fork, add in the heavy cream, salt, pepper and parmesan cheese. Mix well till creamy.
FOR THE CHEESE SAUCE
- In a pan, add in the butter, flour and mix well. Add in the milk, heavy cream, paprika, and cheddar cheese. Mix it well till creamy.
- Add in the cooked meatballs and serve on a ground of mashed potatoes.
