CREAMY CAJUN CHICKEN PASTA

Ingredients you need:

  • Chicken
  • Pasta
  • Chicken bouillon
  • olive oil
  • Paprika
  • Onion powder
  • Garlic powder
  • Cajun seasoning
  • Dried parsley
  • Butter
  • Onion

HOW TO MAKE CAJUN CHICKEN PASTA

  • Cook Pasta: Boil the pasta in salted water with chicken bouillon until it reaches al dente, following the package instructions.
  • Prepare Chicken: Flatten the chicken breasts evenly using a meat mallet or the bottom of a saucepan. Season both sides with with cajun,onion powder, garlic powder,salt,pepper,paprika and dried parsley.. Sauté the chicken in a skillet with oil until fully cooked, then slice into strips.
  • Make the Sauce: In the same pan, add some butter, diced onions, diced pepper,tomatoes, garlic and cook them for a bit. Add some heavy cream, chicken bouillon, cajun spice, parmesan cheese and let it simmer for 10 mins.
  • Combine:Add the cooked pasta and sliced chicken to the sauce. Toss everything together to combine.
  • Serve: Top with parmesan and parsley to serve.

Ingredients
  

  • 250 g pasta
  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 3 tbsp cajun seasoning
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • 1/2 tbsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 small onion diced
  • 1/2 bell pepper sliced
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 garlic clove chopped
  • 2 tbsp cream cheese
  • 1 tsp chicken bouillon
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese

Instructions
 

  • Begin by bringing a generously salted pot of water to a rolling boil. Add the pasta and the chicken bouillon and follow the instructions on the package for cooking time. Before draining, remember to save at least 1/2 cup of the pasta cooking water.
  • In a bowl, marinate the chicken breast with cajun, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, pepper, paprika and dried parsley.
  • On a medium high heat, add some olive oil and start cooking the chicken on both sides. After it is done, set it aside.
  • In the same pan, add some butter, diced onions, diced pepper, tomatoes, garlic and cook them for a bit.
  • Add some heavy cream, chicken bouillon, cajun spice, parmesan cheese and let it simmer for 10 mins.
  • Add your cooked penne pasta into this sauce and top your pasta with the grilled chicken.
  • Enjoy while warm!
